Jacqueline Hackett is a Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter with a nostalgic, slow burning sound that touches on the themes of love and loss - connecting to her audience through unfiltered lyricism and acute moments of vulnerability.

Born and raised in Northern New Jersey, her father was a heavy-metal guitar enthusiast and her mother a poet. It was through this confluence that Hackett was introduced to an array of artists and her budding interest in storytelling was ignited.

Hackett’s debut full-length album, ‘Pollyanna Cowgirl,’ was released in September 2024 via Better Company Records and adjoins her alt-country sound with softer, ambient elements that create a sonic plane of openness and etherealism. Lyrically, the album bittersweetly recounts personal moments of self-loathing and destruction as an external observation.
